Kem Krest strives to make an IMPACT in the environment in which we live, work and play! We feel that it is our obligation to serve our local communities through outreach and focus. Our Kem Krest Impact Team offers suggestions for local events, happenings and volunteer opportunities for our staff to get involved in. Through volunteer committees, Kem Krest team members are encouraged to join in efforts and have spearheaded initiatives to make great progress on areas we are passionate about.
Our wellness committee is tasked with bringing education, programming, and awareness to a healthy lifestyle. Wellness events have included fun runs, walking programs, healthy eating programs, “the biggest loser” competitions, stress management, lunch & learn trainings and wellness fairs. A healthy workforce is a happy workforce and at Kem Krest wellness is becoming integral to our way of life.

Through our Green Committee we have brought additional focus and attention to eliminating recyclables from our waste stream and looking for environmentally friendly options in the materials we use and an overall commitment to sustainability. We will lead by example. We will encourage environmental awareness in our coworkers. We will promote the adoption of energy efficient standards, processes, measurements and technologies.

The focus of the Safety Committee is to promote, develop and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and visitors to our facilities through: identifying unsafe work practices and suggesting appropriate solutions, analyzing incident reports and recommending corrective actions, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, educating and communicating on safe work practices, and encouraging feedback from all associates regarding safety-related ideas, problems and solutions.
