Brighton, MI, August 30, 2023 — Kem Krest announces the addition of PULSE, a full-service, on-site health clinic at their Brighton, MI location. This clinic is in partnership with Beacon Health System, which operates Paragon worksite clinics. The announcement was made by Amish Shah, Chief Executive Officer, Kem Krest.

“At Kem Krest, we live by our core values. We have a longstanding commitment to positively impact and elevate the lives of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve,” says Shah. “In early 2022, we opened the first PULSE clinic in our network in Elkhart, Indiana. The addition of the PULSE clinic at our Brighton location reinforces our commitment and investment in our employees.”

“Our employees’ well-being is paramount. Access to and availability of high-quality healthcare is a barrier we are committed to removing for our associates,” says Sarah Barnhart, Chief Human Resources Officer at Kem Krest. Barnhart continues, “Our PULSE clinics provide on-site complimentary healthcare services to our employees and their families; putting health, wellness, and safety at the forefront of our investment priorities.”

Kem Krest PULSE Clinics provide high-quality health care at no cost to employees and their families, conveniently on-site at our facilities. Our associates do not need to carry the company’s insurance plan to have access to the clinic, and the clinic serves our associates’ immediate family members ages 5-26 with complimentary healthcare services.

The PULSE clinic offers care for common illnesses such as colds, flu, sprains and strains, respiratory conditions, etc., and care for chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, mental health, diabetes, heart disease, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. The clinic offers a variety of prescription medication for the treatment of acute and chronic conditions at no cost to employees. The clinic also offers yearly physicals and exams including women’s health services, wellness visits, school physicals, bloodwork, flu shots and vaccinations, and more.

“The ongoing partnership between Kem Krest and Beacon shows a true caring by the company for the health and well-being of their associates. Our dedicated on-site medical team removes the workday scheduling barriers for employees seeking healthcare and wellness services,” says Greg Piper, Vice President of Retail Operations, Beacon Health System. “We look forward to continuing to provide compassionate, convenient, outstanding on-site care for the Kem Krest team and their families.”
