Meet Our Battery Expert
Chad Cannon is the Battery Platform Manager at Kem Krest, bringing more than 36 years of experience in the automotive industry, including 10 years in batteries. His career includes extensive experience at General Motors, where he held roles across product engineering, purchasing, and product line management, most recently leading ACDelco Batteries. Chad brings deep expertise across OE, OE Service, and aftermarket battery programs, with a strong focus on automotive lead‑acid batteries and experience with lithium technologies.
Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in engineering and management of technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A member of Battery Council International, he serves on the Data Book and Product Information Committees and is passionate about helping customers better understand the market, the technology, and the opportunities ahead.
