Elkhart, Indiana, July 25, 2023 — IBJ Media has named Amish Shah, CEO, Kem Krest, to its annual Indiana 250, a list of the most influential and impactful business and community leaders in Indiana. Shah was recognized in the Manufacturing, Logistics, and Transportation category.

“I am humbled and honored to be amongst the many great leaders chosen to be recognized as IBJ’s most influential people,” says Shah. “The State of Indiana is transforming into a global leader in business, innovation, education, and technology because of those being recognized and the leaders before them that helped build the foundation for success. As an Indiana native and community leader, it is a duty and a privilege to support our state’s efforts that will foster growth, propel positive change, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of fellow Hoosiers. I applaud the IBJ for providing this platform to bring awareness to all the great work being done across the state. Iron sharpens iron, and these great leaders are inspirational role models to other Hoosiers to engage in making a positive impact in their respective communities.”

Executives and leaders at IBJ Media and its three news brands — Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside Indiana Business, and Indiana Lawyer — compiled the list during a months-long process that included reviewing nominations, researching Indiana organizations, and interviewing community leaders across the state. The names were released July 20 to all IBJ Media subscribers and are housed at Indiana250.com. Honorees were profiled in the Indiana 250 magazine inserted in the Indianapolis Business Journal.

“The leaders named to the Indiana 250 are invaluable supporters of their communities and make a difference in their regions and across the state,” said IBJ Media CEO Nate Feltman. “But the Indiana 250 is more than an honor roll,” Feltman said. “It is a way to help Hoosiers in one part of the state learn about leaders and organizations in other areas of the state. We hope the Indiana 250 will help create a bond between influential Hoosiers that results in them working together toward a stronger Indiana.”

IBJ Media’s annual Indiana 250 is part of the company’s larger effort to help foster statewide economic vitality and collaboration through its publications and events, including an Engage Indiana series of programs it is co-hosting with the Indiana Economic Development Corp. in cities throughout Indiana.
